Mission
For me, music is a calling.
It’s all I’ve ever known. As a composer and conductor, I want musicians and audiences to experience a new
or renewed enthusiasm for music. By paying attention to detail and pushing the limits of the colours of sound, music
becomes a special and highly spiritual event, an opportunity and a platform to communicate and inspire passion and increase
understanding of the relevance of music in everyday life.
Vision
Music is not just a creation
it is a communication. Only when an audience responds to the performance is the composition fully given life. It is also the
job of the composer to create pieces that entertain and enlighten the audience (touching on the both the physical and spiritual
aspects of existence). A composition must never abandon the audience or deny its existence. As a conductor it is my belief
that one is always in service of the music, that we are all simple vessels trying to understand the meaning of every piece
we perform.Music should strengthen the link between the holy trinity of composer, performer, and listener.
